Groove Armada Celebrate 21st anniversary

Groove Armada declared they were giving up touring as a live act in 2013, and have been concentrating on DJ performances ever since. But now it seems they've had something of a change of heart because they've just announced four live dates to mark the band's 21st birthday. Announcing the mini-tour, Andy Cato - one-half of Groove Armada alongside Tom Findlay - said: "The live show is what defined us. Refining a genuinely live dance music experience became an obsession, from minute sonic details to the number of sides on the laser glitter ball. The reward was a lawless and electric 15 years on the road."

Indigo – Apocalypse

After a short break from producing new music, Indigo is back with his latest original mix “Apocalypse” and released under UK based Discover White Label. A Psytrance tune in 7 minutes and 11 seconds long track is his effort in pushing his own boundaries, adding new textures, more percussive and bringing something different to the mix. From production stand-point, this has been his best so far. It’s wider and sounding bigger compared to his previous efforts.

Carl Cox and Space Ibiza

Carl Cox has announced that he's partnered with the leadership team at Ibiza’s world famous venue Space. Having previously revealed his plans for a new Space, the DJ icon has now joined the venue’s founder Pepe Rosello, general manager Juan Arenas and Ibiza promoter Dave Browning. The team hasn't confirmed what their plans are going forward, but have hinted towards big announcements over the coming months.

Amsterdam Dance Event organizers will not remove Konstantin from the festival’s 2018 lineups, even as a petition against sexism in the music industry that calls for the cancellation of the Giegling artist’s ADE bookings continues to circulate. “We–women, dancers, DJs, writers, bookers, activists, and music-lovers–are tired of sexism in the electronic music industry,” the petition opens, “Overt sexism by male DJs makes the scene inaccessible and dangerous for women…Sexism is not a problem exclusive to [Konstantin], nor to the Giegling crew.” The document, which maintains that Konstantin “should not be playing during ADE” given the producer’s alleged history of flagrant sexist remarks, garnered more than 2,000 signatures in just a matter of days.
